Dana Williamson

Our current Treasurer and a native of Montreal, Dana came to Banff in 1985 “just for the summer”, fell in love with the mountains, and decided to make the Bow Valley her home. She lives in Canmore with her two beautiful children, Claire and Daniel.

Dana is heading into her 28th year with Parks Canada where she works as a financial analyst for the Lake Louise, Yoho, and Kootenay field unit. She also volunteers her time as Treasurer for the Lawrence Grassi Middle School Parent Council.

When not driving her kids to gymnastics and hockey, Dana can be found running, biking, hiking, and cross-country and downhill skiing.

Dana also enjoys reading, travel and, of course, live music. Her favorite time of year is the long weekend in August because she gets to enjoy great music in a spectacular mountain setting, and she is absolutely thrilled to be part of the Board of Directors for the Canmore Folk Festival.
