That’s a wrap on our “Almost” Festival Weekend

It’s often said that it takes a village to raise a child. Well, we think it takes a community to nurture a festival. If it weren’t for our outstanding community, our “Almost” festival wouldn’t have been possible.

With that, a heartfelt thank you to our presenting sponsor TD Bank and our amazing funders, the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, Canada Heritage, Socan. And, of course, thank you to each and every one of you for joining us online and keeping that folkie spirit alive.

This year was different, but even when apart, our community still came together to share in our love of folk music! It truly warms our hearts and gives us nothing but fuel to get back at planning for 2021’s Festival!

On the note of the 2021 Festival, we are pleased to announce the winners of our T-Shirt Contest, Betti Irwin & Ric Irwin, bringing us some content all the way from Kimberley. We feel confident that’s not where they will be spending the 2021 August long weekend.

We can’t wait to share in tradition, old and new, with you all next summer. We’re endlessly grateful for your unwavering support. Music will always bring us together, no matter the circumstances.
