2024 JUNO award winners, The Swinging Belles, a swing band for kids from St. John's, NL, are intent on getting both kids and adults to kick up their heels and have a swinging good time!

The multi-award winning band features child educators and performers Laura Winter and Erin Power joined by guitarist extraordinaire Duane Andrews. At the core of the Belles philosophy is the belief that children are brilliant beings that respond to and are inspired by music that celebrates their intelligence, their innate musicality and their expansive imagination. They prioritize creating musical experiences that both kids and their families can enjoy together.

With four albums under their belts, The Swinging Belles have played everywhere kids can be found. Shows in schools, hospitals, book stores, living rooms, theatres and outdoor stages have given The Belles a chance to share music that engages young audiences. They’ve been spreading their music all across Canada and beyond with gigs stretching from the Labrador Creative Arts Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, The Calgary International Children’s Festival and La Semaine Acadienne in France. Most recently, the Belles have loved collaborating with a young producer, Isaac Andrews Power, to create some new and exciting electro-swing tracks.
