Plan Your Stay

You don't have to get on a plane to enjoy world-class skiing, hiking, and mountain biking, not to mention premium dining and accommodations. It's all right here in your backyard – more than 4,000 km² of pure excitement, adventure, and stress relief. The Canmore Kananaskis area has been welcoming our neighbors from Calgary, Edmonton, and beyond since 1884, and it only takes one visit to see why they keep coming back.

Keeping It Green

As pioneers of TWZ in the Bow Valley we continue to look at and refine our recycling programs to reduce our impact. By educating our food vendors, we have eliminated Styrofoam plates and cups from the site, and a huge percentage of both hard and soft plastics. Vendors are now required to serve on compostable or recyclable dinnerware only. As a festival, we have reduced our reliance on plastic water bottles and actively promote reusable sources. Our backstage hospitality staff has similarly embraced the Toward Zero Waste initiative, both in how it prepares the food and how it is served.

Pub Stage

Since 2011, the Pub Stage (Mountain FM Stage 4) can be found at Canmore Miners’ Union Hall. Stage 4 has proven to be one of our most popular venues. Doors open at 1 pm Saturday Sunday and Monday with live acts going on at 1:30 pm running to 10 pm Saturday and Sunday night and 9 pm on Monday night. Admission is free for those with a valid festival wristband (or show ticket) For those just wanting to catch the pub music, admission is $10 Come by for lunch, grab a cold beer or glass of wine and wait for the fun to start. Check back in July for a full listing of Pub Stage acts!
