Folk Fest 2020: ‘Caught On Paws’ T-Shirt Contest

Hey, folkies! Can you believe it’s almost that time? Festival week is rapidly approaching and we want to make sure you have all of the details on how to get involved, near or far. For years folkies have been sporting Canmore Folk Festival T-Shirts. You can spot them all over town for the entire weekend and then, as everyone heads home, they’re a welcome reminder of our community around the country.

While things may be different than we’re used to, there are some traditions, like this one, that we hold near and dear. To keep the T-shirt transition alive, we’re doing something special. Our first ever T-shirt contest will be taking place over the festival weekend, from Saturday, August 1 to Monday, August 3.

It’s simple, all you need to do is throw on a festival shirt like you would any other year! It can be one of this year’s capsule collection shirts or any shirt from any past year (extra props for the most vintage one you can find).

Next, you need to post a photo of yourself or a friend proudly sporting your shirt and tag us on Instagram of Facebook. Once your post is up, you’ll be entered to win 2 festival tickets, early access to the 2021 festival to get one of the best possible tarp locations, and 2 festival merch shirts.

It’s that easy!

We will announce the winner on the Tuesday. Our selection process will be at total random and the winner will be contacted on the platform they tagged us on.

Please note. We will be creating an album of all of your pictures and by entering the contest you give us permission to use your shot.

We can’t wait to see your smiling faces in all of those festival T’s! Anyone from anywhere qualifies… as long as you have a Canmore Folk Festival T-shirt on!!!
